Terms of Use
Last updated: 18 May 2026
These terms govern your use of ScreenMint. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Plain-English summary: ScreenMint generates App Store assets for you using AI. You pay per generation. You own what you generate, within reason. We're not liable if Apple or Google rejects your screenshots — those are their decisions, not ours.
1. The service
ScreenMint is a software-as-a-service tool that:
- Scrapes public App Store / Google Play metadata for a URL you provide
- Generates marketing copy and stylized screenshots using third-party AI APIs
- Packages the output as downloadable assets
- Optionally publishes those assets to App Store Connect or Google Play, using credentials you upload
2. Account
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use ScreenMint. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account.
3. Credits and payment
ScreenMint is paid per credit. One credit covers one generation for one target store (App Store OR Google Play). Multi-device output within a single store counts as one credit. Credits are sold in packs (Starter / Launch / Pro) through LemonSqueezy.
Credits don't expire. They're consumed when a generation starts. If a generation fails because of our system (worker error, AI provider outage, etc.) we refund the credit automatically.
Pricing. Current prices are listed on the Pricing page. We can change prices for future purchases, but credits you've already bought keep their value.
Refunds. If you bought credits and want a refund within 14 days of purchase, email billing@screenmint.app with your order number. If you haven't spent the credits, we'll refund in full. If you've spent some, we'll refund pro-rata.
Taxes. LemonSqueezy is our merchant of record. They charge VAT or sales tax as required by your jurisdiction. The price shown at checkout is what you pay; taxes are added on top.
4. Ownership of AI-generated output
You own the screenshots, copy, and ASO bundles that ScreenMint generates for you. You can publish them, modify them, sell apps using them — whatever you want.
We don't claim copyright over AI outputs. However: AI outputs may, in rare cases, resemble copyrighted material we didn't intend to reproduce. If you spot something you suspect infringes someone's rights, tell us and we'll regenerate without charge.
You also grant us a limited license to display your generated outputs back to you in the app, store them in our infrastructure, and use anonymized aggregates (no personally identifying content) to improve the service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ScreenMint to:
- Generate content that infringes someone else's intellectual property
- Generate content that violates App Store or Google Play review guidelines
- Generate content depicting a real person without permission (other than in their actual app screenshots)
- Reverse-engineer the service or our AI prompts
- Submit App Store URLs that you don't own or have permission to act on
- Misuse rate limits or attempt to overload the service
- Use the publishing feature with credentials that aren't yours or that you're not authorized to use
Violation may result in account suspension. Egregious violations (especially malicious use of someone else's ASC credentials) will be reported to Apple, Google, or law enforcement as appropriate.
6. App Store and Google Play
ScreenMint is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. or Google LLC. App Store Connect, App Store, iPhone, iPad, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.
When you connect your App Store Connect or Google Play account, we only perform actions you explicitly trigger. We do not modify your live listings without you clicking “Publish”. Even then, Apple and Google have their own review processes — we cannot guarantee that anything we publish will be approved.
7. Service availability
We do our best to keep ScreenMint running, but we don't guarantee uptime. The service depends on third-party providers (Supabase, AI APIs, payment processors) that have their own outages. If a generation fails for reasons inside our control, we refund the credit. If a long outage affects you, contact support and we'll make it right.
8. Termination
You can close your account anytime by emailing us. We'll delete your personal data and credentials within 30 days of receipt.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account for non-violation reasons (e.g. we shut down the service), you'll get a refund for any unused credits.
9. Liability
ScreenMint is provided “as is”. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages — like lost App Store rankings, lost revenue, or business interruption. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You're responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before publishing it. If ScreenMint generates a screenshot with a typo or misleading claim and you publish it, that's on you — Apple and Google may reject it or, worse, take action against your app.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes get a 14-day email notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms. If you don't, you can close your account before the effective date.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where ScreenMint is operated. Disputes will be resolved in those courts. If you're a consumer, this doesn't override mandatory consumer protections in your country.
